Best Man

My name is Adegboye Bolaji Josiah, and I am privileged to serve as the Best Man to the Groom. Beyond that title, I am grateful to call him one of my closest friends and brothers. Our friendship dates back to our primary school days in the mid-90s. Although life took us in different directions for a while, we reconnected in 2011, and since then, our bond has only grown stronger. He was also my Best Man at my wedding last December, which makes this moment even more special for me. A little about me: I am passionate about excellence and creativity. I enjoy exploring new ideas, embracing challenges, and living life with a sense of adventure. I believe that every meaningful relationship and achievement is built on intentionality, growth, and God’s guidance. What inspires me most about this union is the undeniable hand of God in bringing these two together. There was a season when the Groom had experienced deep heartbreak and had almost completely given up on love. He had gradually settled into the idea that marriage might not be part of his future. However, when he first spoke to me about his bride-to-be, something was different. I could sense hope, peace, and divine purpose. It was clear that God was writing a new chapter in his story. This union is a beautiful reminder that God’s plans often exceed our expectations. What seemed impossible became possible through His grace. Seeing these two come together fills me with joy because I believe this is a godly union founded on faith, purpose, friendship, and love. As for the Groom, he is a man of integrity, loyalty, and consistency.
